Nubiola Discussed Corrosion & Protection of Metallic Surfaces at the 20th SLF Congress

The 20th SLF Congress DESIGN YOUR PAINT - PAINT YOUR DESIGN was held in Helsinki, Finland. It was organized by SLF (Federation of Scandinavian Paint and Varnish Technologists) and VLY (Väri- ja lakkateknillinen yhdistys r.y.) - Finnish Association for Paint and Varnish Technology.

Nubiola took part in the congress with the lecture: Coatings formulating against corrosion by Patricia Pérez (Nubirox anticorrosive pigments Technician at the Coatings Application lab of Nubiola in Barcelona). Patricia discussed the impact of corrosion as one of the most serious problems in modern society, and the importance of protecting metallic surfaces. Corrosion costs are estimated to be 1-5 % of Gross National Product in several countries including the US, the UK, India, China, Germany and Finland.
