HOWELL, Mich. -- Colortek Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MWW Automotive, a global design, engineering, and manufacturing company serving the world's leading automotive manufacturers, has signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with American Autocoat (AA), a Tier 1 supplier of paint technology to Daimler, Ford, Toyota, Honda, and General Motors. The agreement with AA provides for the management of the Tier 1 relationships by AA and the execution of special segments of the paint production process by Colortek.

"Both companies are extremely excited by this alliance," states Richard Rogers, President of American Autocoat. "This partnership will allow both companies to focus on their specific capabilities and responsibilities in the relationship with our Tier 1 customers and the overall production process. It will produce greater depth of production flexibility while maintaining quality and increasing overall efficiencies."

"The alliance with AA will create immediate benefits for both sides," says Patrick Smiarowski, President of Colortek Inc. "The combination of the specialized paint production techniques and capabilities of Colortek in mid-range volume production runs with the strength of AA as a large and established Tier 1 manufacturer for leading automotive manufacturers in the U.S., will allow the effective execution of projects in this industry segment. This strategic alliance will produce a broader roster of product offerings for the customers of both companies."
