HUNT VALLEY, Md. -- Millennium Chemicals (NYSE:MCH) ("Millennium") announced the following price increases for vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) effective October 1, 2004, or as contracts allow.

US & Canada:
US $0.04/lb
Central & South America:
US $90/metric ton
Africa, Turkey & the Middle East:
US $90/metric ton
US $90/metric ton
Europe (T2 material):
Euro 75/metric ton
