CINCINNATI, Ohio -- At ChinaCoat 2012, being held in Guangzhou, China from November 28-30, 2012, Michelman highlighted its water based coating and surface modifying product families as well as its product development and technical service capabilities for the Asian markets.

Exhibiting with its agent Kelly Chemical in Hall 10.2 Zone 1 Booth H15-24, Michelman featured its lines of Michem® Emulsion and Michem Guard surface modifiers formulated to produce rub resistance in inks and overprint varnishes, and Michem Lube, one of Michelman's wax emulsion formulations used to produce a leather like feel on coatings and polishes for upholstery, car interiors and shoes.

Versatility is a key attribute of Michelman solutions, as Michem Emulsion can also be used to enhance water repellency and water beading, and Michem Lube can be used to control blocking and coefficient of friction, in decorative coatings.

Michelman is increasing its capabilities in the Asian markets to better serve its growing customer base in the region. In Singapore, Michelman offers full-scale production capabilities, a lab and pilot reactor and application testing. In Shanghai, the company offers bench top testing for the local market as well as technical and sales support.
