One of the printing inks specialist Marabu exhibited at Viscom in Düsseldorf (Hall 8b Stand F61) its broad product range: UV-curable, solvent- and water-based digital printing inks as well as functional and decorative liquid coatings. In addition, visitors were welcomed at the Marabu stand to experience interesting live-demonstrations.

UV-Curable, Solvent- and Water-Based Digital Printing Inks The Right Solution for Every Application

This year, Marabu focusses on the UV LED-curable ink series UltraJet DLE-A which is available in 11 units and cartridges for Mimaki UJF-3042. Furthermore, UltraJet DUV-A, the UV-curable ink, receives special attention. It is also available in 11 units and cartridges, and has been developed especially for Mimaki JF-1610 machines. DUV-A adheres excellently on a wide variety of substrates. The hybrid inkjet ink UltraJet DUV-H is suitable for rigid materials such as PVC, PS, PC or corrugated board, and for flexible substrates such as self-adhesive films and PVC banner material.

Among solvent-based inks, MaraJet DI-MS fulfils all features for a fast production process: very good light fastness thanks to first-class pigmentation, high scratch resistance, and fast drying. Additionally, DI-MS is perfectly suited for Wide Format prints thanks to its long-term stability. On the other hand, MaraJet DI-JVP is characterized by its mild formulation, brilliant prints and best plug&print compatibility.

Reach a new level of digital printing with MaraJet DI-MS and DI-JVP Silver. With the new Silver not only brilliant Silver effects, but hundreds of different metallic shades can be created. Another attraction is the water-based ink series MaquaJet DA-E. The environmental and user friendly ink system allows printing on thin and sensitive substrates.

Sublimation Printing at its Best

For digital textile printing, Marabu offers water-based solutions for different applications. Their hybrid sublimation ink TexaJet DX-SHE is the right choice for both conventional transfer and direct printing on pre-treated polyester fabrics. The ink delivers outstanding results on systems employing Epson DX4 and DX5 printheads.

In contrast, TexaJet DX-STE is specialized for transfer printing. It works well even on light paper, and is also optimized for Epson DX6 and DX7 printheads. Both ink series include a deep, rich black. Paired with intense colours, it ensures brilliant print quality and an impressive colour gamut. The wide variety of applications includes all textiles with at least 60 % polyester and rigid materials pre-coated with polyester.

Liquid Coatings – The Smart Alternative to Film

Lamination Boosting quality, saving time, and lowering cost simultaneously – who would not go for it? With Marashield UV liquid coatings, you can achieve all of these seemingly conflicting goals. At Marabu’s stand, a sample wall shows all different application possibilities of Marashield UV-curable liquid coatings on substrates such as glass, melamine, polypropylene, and many more. Brand new: Marashield WA-FXG is the first protective varnish that fully preserves the metallic effect while providing a high mechanical abrasion resistance at the same time.Marabu‘s Formula for Success Apart from high-quality products, Marabu offers top level service.
