International Marine Displayed its Chemical Tank Coating Technology, Interline®9001, at Europort 2011

Published on 2011-12-07. Author : SpecialChem

International Paint participated in the Europort exhibition, held in Ahoy Rotterdam, 8-11 November 2011. Attracting over 33,000 visitors and employing the theme of a "Maritime Odyssey - to the year 2041", the event provided the ideal opportunity to present the next generation in chemical tank coating technology, Interline®9001.

The biennial event, which brings together maritime professionals from all sectors, from naval to dredging and from fishery to offshore, looked at the importance of innovation, durability and smart technology within the marine industry. Interline®9001 fitted well with these topics, as it is designed to help chemical tank operators meet the increasingly stringent demands of the rapidly changing market. With enhanced cargo resistance, zero absorption for many cargoes and fewer cycling restrictions, the coating simplifies the carriage of a wide variety of liquid cargoes, optimizing vessel earning potential.

Rob Remans, Sales Manager of International Paint Netherlands BV said, "The exhibition was a great success for us and, as advanced technology, saving fuel and cutting emissions were high on the agenda, this was the ideal opportunity to present the benefits of Interline®9001. In addition to lowering fuel and CO2 emissions thanks to the reduced tank cleaning requirement, the product helps to increase trading flexibility due to reduced cargo restrictions, which can all deliver greater efficiency in the increasingly challenging chemical tanker market."

International® looks forward to Europort 2013.
