Huntsman Names New Chief Information Officer

The Woodlands, TX -- Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN) announced the appointment of Maria Csiba-Womersly as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Ms. Csiba-Womersley assumes her new role effective immediately, taking this area of responsibility from the shoulders of Mike Kern, who will continue to serve as Senior Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety and Chief Compliance Officer.

Ms. Csiba-Womersley has served as Business Director, Polypropylene, and Director of Polymer Logistics. She joined the IT team in 2004 as Global eBusiness Director and most recently served on the IT Leadership Team as Director of Global IT Planning and Security.

Kimo Esplin, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, said, "Maria has an excellent background for this new role, having served in numerous positions of responsibility since joining Huntsman in 1997. With her broad business and technical background, I am confident she will work closely with the divisions as a valued service provider."
