Ft. Myers, FL: Ft. The Certified Collision Center will be using environmentally friendly waterborne basecoat as part of its repair process.

"We wanted to open a top-of-the-line, environmentally friendly facility and FinishMaster has provided us phenomenal support as we opened our Certified Collision Center," said Mark Kirman, Collision Center Manager. "The training they provided, as well as their expertise in setting up our facility for waterborne, has helped make our collision center state-of-the art. We know we will be able to provide our customers with excellent service and outstanding repair quality."

The Ft. Myers Toyota Certified Collision Center will be the first in Southwest Florida to utilize DuPont" Cromax Pro® waterborne basecoats which offer the latest in waterborne technology. Waterborne basecoats are better for the environment as they reduce the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that are emitted by conventional paints. In addition, DuPont" Cromax Pro® reduces cycle times with an innovative continuous coat and a half process.

'Ft. Myers Toyota is one of the top Toyota dealerships in the Southeast and we are proud to be a supplier to their Certified Collision Center," said Ken Motyka, District Sales Manager for FinishMaster. "We are excited that they have chosen to use waterborne technology even though it is not mandated in this area. Utilizing the experience our WaterMasters group has developed will enable Ft. Myers Toyota to capitalize on the opportunities that converting to waterborne technology presents." Fort Myers Toyota has been serving Lee County and Southwest Florida since 1988.
