Ann Arbor, MI -- GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO 2006 attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about Flint Group, which formed from the acquisition and merger of Flint Ink Corporation and XSYS Print Solution in late 2005. Specifically, Flint Group will highlight new products available, such as the K&E® premium sheetfed inks, as well as digital inks and equipment manufactured by Jetrion.

Show Highlights

  • As a result of the merger, Flint Group's North American Sheetfed Division now offers the K+E line of premium sheetfed inks known worldwide for their ultimate quality, consistency and performance in high-end color printing applications. These proven inks are now available to all U.S. and Canadian commercial and packaging printers.
  • K+E inks are an exciting addition to Flint Group's North American portfolio. Doug Labertew, vice president and general manager, Flint Group, Sheetfed Division, North America says, "The wider availability of K+E inks gives Flint Group customers a choice between a truly premium line and our standard ArrowStar™ product line. For printers who require the ultimate in high-quality reproduction, K+E inks are the ideal choice."
  • The merger also enabled Flint Group to expand their established North American distributor network. The broader network provides greater sales and service capabilities, regardless of a printer's size or location.
  • Printers can use this opportunity to learn about all of Flint Group's businesses and products. Combined, its five business units offer a wide variety of printing inks, including energy curable inks, digital inks, narrow web inks, and traditional inks for almost all printing applications; printing plates; and colorants and additives.
