Villejust -- Eliokem, a specialty chemical company, will be exhibiting at the European Coatings Show from 8 to 10 May 2007 in Nürnberg (Germany).

Eliokem will present its full range of coatings resins: Pliolite® (exterior masonry resin), Hydro Pliolite® (new acrylic emulsion technology for exterior masonry coatings), Plioway® (resins for odorless interior renovation - walls and ceilings) and Pliotec® (waterborne resins for floor and horizontal concrete coatings).

Today all Eliokem resins enable paint manufacturers to meet the 2010 European VOC regulations. This legislation requires manufacturers of coatings to limit their VOC emissions.

With unchanged trademarks, Eliokem acquired a new shareholder in September 2006. The company was bought out by AXA Private Equity through a Secondary Leveraged Buy-Out (LBO) transaction for approximately €130 million.

More recently, Mr. Jacques Collonge, Eliokem's President and CEO announced that the company was seeking acquisition targets in Europe, Asia and America to fuel profit growth and extend its scope of business.

Eliokem made significant gains in 2006. Annual revenues rose by 10% to reach 164 M€.
