Eckart Announces Price Increase for some its Pigments and Printing inks

Eckart will increase its prices for aluminium pigments, PVD pigments, aluminium-based printing inks and also zinc pigments throughout the world from 1 March 2006.

The increase for aluminium-based printing inks is 3%, whereas the increase for aluminium pigments and PVD pigments will be absolute or between 5% and 8%.

The increase in the price of zinc pigments will also be absolute, according to the increase in metal costs.

The price increases are necessary because of the drastic increases in raw material and energy costs.
