Eastman Increases OXO Alcohols Prices on May 1

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective May 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

  • EASTMAN n-Butyl Alcohol: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.
  • EASTMAN Isobutyl Alcohol: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.
  • EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexanol: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) in North America and Latin America.
  • EASTMAN n-Butyraldehyde, all grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) in North America and Latin America.
  • EASTMAN Isobutyraldehyde, all grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) in North America and Latin America.
  • EASTMAN Propionaldehyde, all grades: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) in North America and Latin America.
