Eastman Increases Glycol Ethers and Glycol Ether Esters Prices on December 1

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Dec. 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

  • Eastman EB Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) globally.
  • Eastman DB Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) globally.
  • Eastman DE Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) globally.
  • Eastman DM Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) globally.
  • Eastman EP Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) globally.
  • Eastman PM Solvent: Off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) globally.
  • Eastman PM Acetate: Off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) globally.
  • Eastman EB Acetate: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) globally.
  • Eastman DB Acetate: Off-list price increase of $US 0.04 /lb ($US 0.088/kg) globally.
  • Eastman DE Acetate: List and off-list price increase of $US 0.02 /lb ($US 0.044/kg) globally.
