Eastman Increases Acetyls Prices on October 1

KINGSPORT, Tenn.-- Eastman Chemical Company is increasing
prices on the following products effective Oct. 1, or as contracts allow. These
increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials,
energy and freight. - Eastman Acid Acid and
Derivatives : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg)
globally.
- Eastman Acetic Anhydride and Derivatives : List
and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg, € 90.00/kg) globally.
- Eastman
Acetaldehyde : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg)
globally.
- Eastman Methyl Acetate : List and off-list price
increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.22/kg) globally.
