DuPont Titanium Technologies Announces a Price Increase for Titanium Dioxide Paper Grades Sold in North America

WILMINGTON, Del. -- DuPont Titanium Technologies announced a price increase for DuPont titanium dioxide (TiO2) paper grades sold in North America.

Effective Oct. 15, 2006, or as permitted by contract, North American (U.S. and Canada) prices for DuPont paper titanium dioxide grades will increase by 4 cents per pound (US$).

This increase is supported by market dynamics and significant increases in raw material, energy, fuel costs, as well as reinvestment economics to meet future customer needs.
