Dow Increases North American Prices for DERAKANE Epoxy Vinyl Ester Resins

Midland, MI -- Dow is increasing off-list prices on all grades of DERAKANE* epoxy vinyl ester resins in North America. The increase is effective for shipments on and after August 15, 2004, for all customers, or as contract terms permit. All other terms or conditions of sale remain unchanged.

In the United States, off-list prices will rise US$0.07/lb. In Canada, off-list prices will increase CAN$0.21/kg.

The price increases are necessary to offset higher hydrocarbons and energy costs.Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
