Dow Europe Announces Price Increase for Polyethylene Resins

Published on 2004-10-20. Author : SpecialChem

The present polyethylene prices do not allow for acceptable margins for Dow given the tight supply-demand balance and further increasing raw material costs. Based on this situation, Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European region for all polyethylene resins.

Effective November 1, Dow Europe will increase prices by 100 Euro per metric ton for all grades of its low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resins and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins, DOWLEX* polyethylene resins, ATTANE* ultra low density polyethylene (ULDPE) copolymers, ELITE* enhanced polyethylene resins and ASPUN* fiber grade resins.
