Midland, MI -- The Dow Chemical Company announced that
it will raise list and off-list prices on a number of products in its
Oxygenated Solvents portfolio in North America on September 1, 2005.
"This increase is a result of increased raw material
costs, as well as stronger supply/demand fundamentals following a period
of de-stocking and inventory adjustment," says Martin Sutcliffe,
global business director, Glycol Ethers. "We expect demand will continue
to grow during the latter half of this year, as customers rebuild their
inventories."
