Dow Announces Price Increases for Peroxymeric Chemicals and Hydroxyalkyl Acrylates in Asia Pacific (including India and Pakistan)

Hong Kong -- Effective September 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy – a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company – will increase prices for peroxymeric chemicals and hydroxyalkyl acrylates in Asia Pacific (including India and Pakistan) at the following rates:

The increases are as follows:

Price Increase By
TONE™ Monomer and Polyols
TONE Polymers and M-Series Monomers
CYRACURE™ Cycloaliphatic Epoxides
Hydroxyalkyl Acrylates

Dow said the high feedstock cost and tight supply situation are the primary reasons for the price increase.
