The Dow Chemical Company and its affiliates ("Dow")
has announced a price increase for acrylic acid and esters ("acrylates")
in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Pacific, effective April 1, 2006. Dow
will increase selling prices in Europe by 75 Euros per metric ton; in
the Middle East/Africa by US$90 per metric ton; and in Asia Pacific by
US$90 per metric ton, or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms.
Products included in this increase are glacial acrylic acid, butyl acrylate,
ethyl acrylate, methyl acrylate and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate.
