Dow Announces February 1 Price Increases for Oxygenated Solvents and Intermediates

The Dow Chemical Company announced that it will raise list and off-list prices on a number of products in its Oxygenated Solvents portfolio in North America on February 1, 2005. Details are outlined below:

"Although demand for many of our solvents is tight, demand for these products continues to significantly outpace our ability to supply," says Pat Gottschalk, global business director, Solvents & Intermediates. "Production issues and plant closures have had an impact on all producers, who are operating at maximum rates already."
