PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Degussa has appointed Craig Vail
regional sales manager for the company's Aerosil & Silanes business.
Vail's responsibilities include sales of the company's AEROSIL® fumed
silicas and organo-functional silanes, as well as managing distributors
in the western United States, including: California, Oregon, Washington,
Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada and Colorado. He will be working from his
home office, in Orange, California.
"Craig's combination of sales and technical experience
will be an invaluable asset to our customers in North America, as we work
to fulfill Degussa's promise of 'Creating Essentials,' " said
Ruediger Eberhard, senior vice president and general manager, North America,
for the company's Aerosil & Silanes business.
Vail brings 10 years of company experience to his new
position, having last served Degussa as Western Sales Manager for the
company's former Fine Chemicals business unit. He came to Degussa from
Dow Chemical Company, where he held various positions in analytical support,
sales and marketing. Vail earned a bachelors degree in microbiology
from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida.
