Cray Valley Increases its Prices of Satured Polyester Resins for Powder Coatings

Cray Valley Powder Coating Resins is announcing a price increase for all its REAFREE products, saturated polyesters for powder coatings effective October 15th, 2005 or as contracts allow.

Increases will range from five to eight percent depending on the grades, and will apply to the European, Asian and African markets.

The need for this price increase comes from the raw material costs increase and escalating energy costs coinciding with the Katrina natural disaster effects.

Part of Total's Chemicals branch, The group formed by CRAY VALLEY, COOK COMPOSITES & POLYMERS and SARTOMER is the second largest resins manufacturer in the world, with sales of 1.7 billion euros and nearly 3,800 employees worldwide (2004).
