Published on 2005-02-28. Author : SpecialChem

Cray Valley Coatings department increases its prices for solvent borne acrylic resins by euros 100 per ton in Europe and the Middle East, and by euros 150 per ton in Asia.

This price increase is due to the rapidly rising costs of raw materials, especially acrylates and methacrylates, as of February 15th, 2005 or as contract terms will allow.

Cray Valley will increase its prices for all CRAYVALLAC® additives worldwide by 5%.

These price increases are due to the steep rise in raw materials, packaging, energy and transportation costs, as of March 1st, 2005 or as contract terms will allow.

Part of TOTAL's Chemicals branch, the Cray Valley, Cook Composites & Polymers and Sartomer Group employs 3,600 people and is the world's second largest producer of resins with sales of 1.7 billion euros in 2004.
