Published on 2005-10-07. Author : SpecialChem

Ciba will be showing a variety of novel curing solutions at RadTech Europe in Barcelona from October 18-20, 2005, at Stand 22, as well as giving three presentations at the Conference.

In the coatings field, Ciba will be introducing its new UV PlasmaCure™ concept for three-dimensional UV curing, developed in a consortium with Dürr and Roth & Rau. New photoinitiators for coating applications include versatile, easy-to-use Ciba® IRGACURE® 2022 for curing opaque coatings, Ciba® IRGACURE® 2100 liquid photoinitiator with excellent through cure, Ciba® IRGACURE® 127, a unique photonitiator with outstanding cure speed, and Ciba® IRGACURE® 379, which performs exceptionally well in pigmented systems. Two further photoinitiators, which combine high performance with substantial environmental benefits, are Ciba® IRGACURE® 754, a low-odor, low-emission, low-volatility product, and Ciba® IRGACURE® 819DW for waterborne pigmented systems.
