Buildings refurbished with Pliolite based paint nominated for the Johnstone's 2006 Painter of the Year Awards

Villejust -- The Fraser Residence in London refurbished with Johnstone's Stormshield Pliolite Based Masonry Paint, was nominated for the 24th year at Johnstone's Painter of the Year Awards.

Painter of the Year Awards is to recognize and celebrate the very best work in the painting and decorating industry. This competition is open to the whole UK industry, with the entry criteria being:-The project has been completed the year prior to the event, that Johnstone's or Leyland products have been used and most importantly that the customer is proud of the work they have entered.

The 16 short listed finalists were among scores of top level competitors who participated in the Johnstone's 2006 Painter of the Year were invited together with outstanding customers, major contractors and clients, housing associations, guilds and federations, to the Annual Awards Ceremony that took place at the luxury De Vere Carden Park Hotel Golf Resort near Chester on 13th April 2007. Entries were split into 4 categories - Commercial, Residential, Refurbihment and Special Interest.

P & B Decorators were nominated as a finalist in the Residential Category for the work they carried out on Fraser Residences Ltd, London. Properties in the fashionable boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea were painted with over 2000 litres of Johnstone's Pliolite Based Masonry Paint.
