TYSONS CORNER, Va. -- Blink Communications, a Washington, D.C. area-based convention and conference production company, announced it recently received the contract to produce the 119th annual conference for the National Paint and Coatings Association. The four-day conference will be held in September.

This is the seventh year Stephen Carey, Blink founder and executive producer, has been selected to produce the NPCA annual conference for association members, who are primarily paint and coatings manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.

The conference will be co-produced by Mr. Carey and Elin Smith, who has worked with Mr. Carey on previous NPCA events. The team will produce the general sessions, prepare presentations for top NPCA leadership, design exciting visuals and graphics to augment all sessions, and coordinate the annual awards ceremony.

"We are very pleased to once again have been chosen by NPCA to produce its annual conference," said Mr. Carey. "To have been selected for the seventh time, consecutively, speaks to the trust the association has placed in Blink as a partner to accurately present its message and mission to NPCA membership at the annual conference."

Blink Communications specializes in producing national conventions and conferences, product launches, entertainment events, and other communication strategies for effective and engaging audience experiences. The firm's expertise in client communications, needs assessment, and managing production teams of all sizes is beneficial throughout the production process and is particularly evident in the final product.

Founded in 1888 in Saratoga, NY, the NPCA is a voluntary, nonprofit trade association representing some 350 paint and coatings manufacturers, raw materials suppliers and distributors. Currently located in Washington, D.C., the NPCA's primary role is to serve as ally and advocate on legislative, regulatory and judicial issues at the federal, state and local levels.
