BASF to Raise Prices for Pigments, Additives in North America

FLORHAM PARK, NJ -- Effective May 23, 2008, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase list and off-list prices for the following pigments and additives by an average of five to seven percent in North America. The price increase includes, but is not limited to, the following product lines:

  • Lumogen®, Heliogen®, Meteor®, Paliogen®, Paliotan®, Paliotol®, Rightfit®, Sicomin®, Sicopal®, Sicotan®, and Synergy™ pigments
  • Lumina®, Mearlin®, and Paliocrom® effect pigments
  • Basacid®, Basantol®, Basonyl®, and Neozapon® dyes
  • Eupolen® preparations for plastics
  • Aurasperse®, Gallery One™, and H2options® color dispersions
  • Uvinul® light stabilizers
  • Xfast® stir-in dry pigments
  • Alsibronz® mica reinforcements
  • Attagel® and Micro-sorb™ rheology modifiers
