BASF to increase prices for styrene-butadiene latex products

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Effective September 1, 2006, or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices by four cents per dry pound in the United States and Canada on all Butonal® high solids latex products supplied to the carpet, construction and foam industries. This action is being taken as a result of increased energy, raw material, and transportation costs.
