BASF to Increase Prices for its Biocides in the United States

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Effective January 1, 2006, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase list and off-list selling prices by $0.14 per pound in the United States for all grades and forms of Myacide® HT, Myacide® HT Technical and ProtectolTM HT triazine biocides.

In order to manage inventory, BASF may institute controls on monthly purchases during the period prior to the effective date of the price increase based upon past monthly purchases.
