BASF to Increase Amine Intermediate Prices in the United States

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Effective April 1, 2005, or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices in the United States for its amine intermediate chemicals as follows:

Price increase

  • DMAPA (Dimethylaminopropylamine) $0.10 per pound off-list
  • AEEA (Aminoethylethanolamine) $0.08 per pound off-list
  • EDA (Ethylenediamine) $0.08 per pound off-list
  • DMEOA (Dimethylethanolamine) $0.15 per pound list and off-list
  • MDEOA (Methyldiethanolamine) $0.08 per pound list and off-list
  • DEEA (Diethylethanolamine) $0.08 per pound list and off-list
  • TEA (Triethylamine) $0.05 per pound off-list
  • DEA (Diethylamine) $0.05 per pound off-list
  • MnBA (monoButylamine) $0.06 per pound off-list
  • DnBA (Dibutylamine) $0.06 per pound off-list
  • TnBA (Tributylamine) $0.06 per pound off-list
  • Pyrrolidine $0.25 per pound off-list
  • DTDA (Ditridecylamine) $0.15 per pound list and off-list
  • DMIPA (Dimethylisopropylamine) $0.10 per pound off-list
