BASF Receives Prestigious Masco Architectural Coatings Group Innovation Award

CHARLOTTE, NC -- BASF has announced that it has been recognized by Masco Architectural Coatings Group with its 2007 Supplier Technology Innovation Award.

"This is the most important recognition that we can give to our suppliers," said Cyriac Alexander, Senior Vice President, Technology and Purchasing, Masco Architectural Coatings Group. "BASF's leadership in the development of acrylic latex allows us to provide our customers with architectural coatings that meet our rigorous performance standards, while complying with the most stringent environmental regulations."

The extensive line of BASF 100 percent acrylic latex resins, branded Acronal Optive®, enables coating manufacturers to formulate low to zero VOC architectural paints with performance properties equal to or exceeding those made using conventional resins.
