BASF appoints Todd Marketing Manager in North America

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- BASF has appointed Jacqueline J. Todd as Marketing Manager for its captive acrylic monomers business in North America. Prior to this assignment, Todd was distribution manager for the BASF Functional Polymer Regional Business Unit in North America. In her new role, Todd is responsible for the management of BASF's acrylic monomers provided to BASF businesses in North America, and she is a member of the BASF team that manages the flow of BASF acrylic monomers within the company's global network.

Todd is a graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona.

In addition to her work at BASF, Todd coordinates a Chemical Educational Foundation effort called "You Be the Chemist" for fifth through eighth graders in Mecklenburg County, N.C. and York County, S.C., to engage students in learning about chemistry. She has also participated for each of the last five years in an International Mission to help improve lives in Honduras, Central America. On June 1 through 10, 2007, she will again lead an eight-person team, with one-third trained medical professionals and two-thirds lay people, to dispense medical care and supplies to people in Honduras.
