BASF appoints Nicole McGlone as Operations Manager for Acrylic Monomers

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 22, 2004 -- Nicole E. McGlone has been appointed Operations Manager for BASF's acrylic monomers facilities in North America based in Freeport, Texas.

Most recently, McGlone was Operations Manager for oxo alcohols and syngas. She joined the company in 1992 as a Research Engineer for acrylic monomers and has also worked as an Operations Engineer and Assistant Plant Manager. Prior to BASF, McGlone worked for Union Carbide as a Production and Research Engineer.

McGlone earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, and a master's of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Houston.
