SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- BASF's Automotive Refinish Solutions business has named Clinton Morton as a grand prize winner in the company's national consumer sweepstakes, which ended December 31, 2005.

Morton, who won the third and final drawing in the sweepstakes, is an employee of Carlisle Chevy in Waxahachie, Texas. His name was drawn from almost 5,800 entrants. The sweepstakes was designed to promote BASF's BASFrefinish portal, its Carizzmacolors website and the BASFtoolbox microsite.

Like the first two sweepstakes winners, Morton won a custom-painted BASF toolbox (roll cab and chest), which has a retail value of $7,700 and comes fully equipped with refinishing tools and supplies, including the innovative R-M® CTR® Repair System for small damage paint repairs.

"We pride ourselves in helping our customers become winners, and we congratulate Clinton on winning the sweepstakes," said Brent Wallace, R-M Product Manager for BASF's Automotive Refinish business in North America. "Our goal was to broaden refinish industry awareness of our online resources. We were pleased by the number of industry professionals that submitted entries online and used the opportunity to see how our websites and other business offerings can help them be more productive."

Visitors to the BASF Toolbox microsite can learn more about many of BASF's leading-edge informational and eBusiness offerings, including SmartTools®, VisionPLUS®, color tools and BASF's Internet "mall" sites.
