Carbon nanotubes will be in the spotlight on Arkema's stand at the European Research and Innovation Exhibition held in Paris from June 8th to 11th.

A discovery of the beginning of the 21st century, carbon nanotubes offer huge application prospects, from optimizing existing products to creating new materials, thanks to their outstanding mechanical, electrical and thermal properties.

With its new 10 tpa carbon nanotube production plant, Arkema is resolutely committed to industrial scale manufacture, and stands out as a major global player in the field of carbon nanotubes.

As part of its product stewardship initiative, Arkema gives priority to risk prevention at every stage of its carbon nanotubes' lifecycle, from production through to application. Arkema is also taking part in the European Nanosafe project, and in the drawing-up of French and international quality standards.

Arkema's cutting-edge R&D involves many other sectors, some of which will also be on show on the stand, notably membranes for fuel cells, additives for road bitumen, renewable vegetable raw materials, and zeolithes for the production of medical oxygen, not to mention Pebax®, a thermoplastic synonymous with high performance, and present in particular in the latest generation of sports footwear.
