Arch Chemicals Announces Price Increase for Industrial Biocides

NORWALK, Conn. -- Due to higher costs throughout the supply chain, including for regulatory compliance, Arch Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: ARJ - News) will be increasing worldwide pricing by 5 percent for its zinc, copper and sodium Omadine® pyrithione-based biocides for industrial applications, effective January 15, 2005, or as contracts allow.
