ANI Printing Inks Acquires Macro – Pioneer in UV-Flexo Inks for Shrink Sleeves!

ANI Printing Inks has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of Macro Australia Pty Limited, a leading independent supplier in the Australian and New Zealand market specialized in UV-Flexo inks, adhesives and varnishes for Narrow Web converters. With dedication and entrepreneurship through a highly professional technical organisation Macro has developed a unique product portfolio for the Narrow web printer. Macro is a pioneer in UV-Flexo technology and has developed free radical curing inks to be used on shrink sleeves with the highest degree of shrinkage known in the market.

On December 1, 2004, ANI Printing inks and BASF Printing Systems merged and formed a new company for printing inks, printing plates and pigments/ resins for the graphics and packaging industry. The company has 65 fully owned subsidiaries in 30 countries and wide network of distributors covers another 50 countries. The group, headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, employs 3 600 people worldwide and had sales in 2004 of EUR 880 million.
