Alberdingk Boley, Inc Announces Brand Name Changes for Former MeadWestvaco Emulsion Polymers

ALBERDINGK BOLEY, Inc is announcing the product name change for all of the MeadWestvaco emulsion polymers that were assumed by Alberdingk Boley, Inc.

In January 2006, Alberdingk Boley, Inc. negotiated a license agreement with MeadWestvaco Specialty Chemicals to exclusively produce and sell MeadWestvaco.s emulsions. Over the past nine months, Alberdingk Boley, Inc has successfully produced and sold products acquired from the license at their Greensboro, NC manufacturing facility.

The MeadWestvaco products affected by the agreement were sold under the brand names JONREZ®, ARMOREZ®, HYATOP., ELASTOREZ., TruDot. and SYNPAQUE.. Under the new production and sales by Alberdingk Boley, Inc, the MeadWestvaco products have been renamed with the registered trademark of Alberdingk Boley Gmbh. The following are being promoted for immediate availability:

  • ALBERDINGK® M2001 for opacity (formerly SYNPAQUETM SO-2001)
  • ALBERDINGK® M2007 for opacity (formerly SYNPAQUETM SO-2007)
  • ALBERDINGK® M2064 for low Tg and adhesion (formerly JONREZ® FV-2064)
  • ALBERDINGK® M2500 for elasticity (formerly ELASTOREZTM IC-2500)
  • ALBERDINGK® M2826 for block and hardness (formerly JONREZ® IC-2826)
  • ALBERDINGK® M2856 for versatile adhesion (formerly JONREZ® IC-2856)
  • ALBERDINGK® M2954 for block and hardness (formerly ARMOREZ® IC-2954)
  • ALBERDINGK® M2959 for water resistance (formerly ARMOREZ® IC-2959)
  • ALBERDINGK® M3000 for chemical resistance (formerly ARMOREZ® IC-3000)
  • ALBERDINGK® M6000 for alkyd-like gloss (formerly HYATOPTM IC-6000)
