The CNCI Achiever of Excellence Award Ceremony was held for the 7th consecutive year. It is undoubtedly a pivotal event for the business communities of Sri Lanka and those of the SAARC Region as well.

CNCI which was established in 1960, was subsequently incorporated by an Act of Parliament in 1969 and has contributed effectively to the promotion of local industry. Its interaction with the Government Authorities has helped the Government and many entrepreneurs to resolve issues for the betterment of the Country and its economy.

With the increase in globalization, survival and growth of industries will only be possible if Companies seriously improve strategies to innovate, adapt to the new environment, and enhance efficiencies of all their processes. Implementing changes in the organization to conform to the requirements of this nature would have a tremendous impact on the performance of Companies.

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries has been instrumental in keeping the Sri Lankan tradition of quality based industrial production alive for a very long time. This has enabled an increasing number of Sri Lankan manufacturers and Companies win wider recognition in the region and internationally for their products.

Silicone Coatings (Pvt) Ltd, Manufacturers of Nippolac Paints, was awarded 2 awards at the recently held CNCI Achiever of Industrial Excellence Awards held by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries at Hilton in Colombo.

Founded in 1979, the Parent company, Silicone Coatings (Pvt) Limited, originally based in Matara, with its trade name of Nippolac, has gradually grown as a formulator and distributor of specialized coatings for Decorative Paints, Industrial Applications and Automotive Finishes.
