Plastic coatings are a large and growing market which include automotive interior and exterior, resilient flooring and stamping foils, plastic signs and sheeting, office equipment & much more. Plastics are coated to provide specific appearance and protection to the substrate. The main challenge to coat plastic substrate is to choose the right resin in order to obtain the perfect adhesion to the substrate. Plastic substrates are thermosets which require adhesion promoters or even pretreatment before being coated.
