VINNAPAS® EF8300 is an alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO)-free, formaldehyde-free, environmentally friendly aqueous dispersion of vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer. Exhibits good block resistance, stain resistance, scrub resistance and wet adhesion/water resistance. It does not need a coalescing agent or plasticizer to achieve a low minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) and a low glass transition temperature (Tg) which provides the polymer with a very low to no co-solvent demand for proper film formation. Is highly compatible with other latex dispersions and can be blended with other polymers such as high Tg pure acrylics. It can replace a variety of technologies including vinyl acrylics, vinyl acrylic/acrylic blends and pure acrylics. Have applications in low volatile organic compounds (VOC) and low odor contractor and Do-it-Yourself (DIY) products and is recommended for flat through semi-gloss finishes and very high end coatings. Market applications include interior architectural coatings.
