Crilat 4815

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Vinavil
Crilat 4815 by Vinavil is an APEO-, solvent- & formaldehyde-free, odorless pure acrylic water-based dispersion. It is characterized by very small particles size due to this feature it is defined as nanolatex. It is used as a primer for wall surfaces in general on old and new renders (well cured), before applying finishing coat over old paints, even if slightly chalky. It is an ultra fine dispersion once applied to the surface it can penetrate in depth and acts as a regulator of the absorption of the surface and as adhesion promoter of the topcoat. It ensures the consolidation of dust present on surfaces that need to be treated. It can slow down the formation of efflorescence salts present in the mineral substrates due to high penetration. It does not change the appearance of the surface where applied. It is stable in combination with silicates. It is also used for the preparation of stains, impregnating agents and as vehicle for preservative substances of wood. The emulsifying system for this grade is surfactant. Crilat 4815 has a shelf life of 6 months if stored in the original, unopened containers at temperatures between 5 and 40°C.
