Silikoftal® HTL 2

Silikoftal® HTL 2 by Evonik is a silicone polyester resin. It is used as a solvent-based binder for the production of decorative-, heat-resistant coatings for cookware, household appliances and non-stick coatings in combination with PTFE. It provides good adhesion, low yellowing and minimal thermo-plasticity. It combines with the properties of silicones such as heat-, weathering resistance and low surface tension with the polyesters exhibiting high flexibility and pigmentability. Silikoftal® HTL 2 finds application in inner and outer coatings for cooking utensils and bakeware which comply with FDA/BfR regulations. Recommended shelf-life is 6 months.
