CHS-Alkyd AL 3964

Short oil alkyd resin based on dehydrated castor oil (DCO) and linoleic rich fatty acids. It is delivered as a very high viscous 70% solution in butyl glycol, butanol and has an oil length of approx 28%. It exhibits very low thermo-plasticity, very rapid air-drying, excellent corrosion resistance, high flexibility in baking systems and high hydroxyl content. Offers very good paint stability. Recommended for fast drying water- or solventborne primers, topcoats and one-layer-coatings for industrial application (air-drying, force drying, baking with melamine resins). Also suitable for spraying, dipping and flooding systems.
