SOLBIN® A

SOLBIN® A is vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer by Shin-Etsu. Offers excellent resistance to alcohol and chemicals including acids, alkalis and brine. Possesses good toughness and plasticity. It forms water resistant, odorless, tasteless, transparent, thermoplastic, heat-sealable coating films which are fire-retardant and self-extinguishing. Compatible with urethane, melamine resins, alkyd, acryl and urea resins. Suitable for coatings on polyolefin films. Applications include internal coatings of soft-drink cans, rotogravure inks, ship bottom paints, outer surface coatings of cap and top coatings on galvanized color iron plates. SOLBIN® A complies with FDA (§ 175.300 and § 175.320).
