SiSiB® PC5424

Ethyl polysilicate 40. It is a hydrolyzed and oligomerized form of ethyl silicate. Contains a mixture of monomers, dimers, trimers and cyclic polysiloxanes. Also contains branch-shaped and ring-shaped condensates. Exhibits compatibility with ceramics, fillers, glass, metals, pigments and synthetic fibers. Provides improvement in mechanical properties, chemical- and thermal stability. Used as a binder in zinc-rich (corrosion resistant) coatings.
