Glycerin ester of maleic anhydride-modified rosin. It exhibits solubility in toluene, xylene, esters and ketones. Possesses compatibility with nitrocellulose and alkyds. Compatible with plasticizers and other ingredients used in lacquers and coatings. Formulated specially for use in toluene-acetone blends. Used with alkyds for varnishes. Recommended for use in formulations of lacquer wood sealers and as a film forming resin for gravure inks.
