Condensed silane in alcohol based binder. Exhibits high temperature stability, good abrasion and corrosion resistance. It is a transparent, inorganic-organic sol-gel material which catalyzes the degradation of organic compounds at high temperatures. It is free of fluorine and other halogens. Applications in temperature stable catalytic coatings and tarnish protection. Typical substrates are stainless steel, aluminium, glass or ceramic. Also suitable for surfaces in food contact. Suited for formulation of spray, dip and brush-on paints as well as for coatings used in roller application.
