EPON™ Resin 8161

EPON™ Resin 8161 by Westlake Epoxy is a moderate viscosity resin containing both epoxide and reactive unsaturation functionality. It allows the substitution of this grade for the basic epoxy in many systems without adversely affecting cure rates. It offers excellent substrate wetting, light color, low vapor pressure, high reactivity and good cured property profile with specific amine type. It is used in solventless or high solids/low VOC coatings. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 8161 is 2 years.
